Multiplying 2 numbers ending in 5 that are 10 numbers apart.

65×75

6x(7+1)=6×8=4875

Example:

55×65

Take the (smaller) digit in the 10′s position and multiply by 1 more than the (larger) 10′s digit.

5x(6+1)=5×7=35

Always Put 75 on the end of that number for the answer.

Add the 75 after the answer (35)

Answer: 55×65=3575
